In 1940, Germany invaded European countries such as Denmark, Norway and France. Germany was a force to be reckoned with. Once they took control of other nations, they formed concentration camps and segregated all of the people who believed in the Jewish culture. The Jewish people were put through hard labor and were treated poorly in all of the camps. Millions of Jewish men, women, and children were killed in this period of time known as the holocaust.
